On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, Nollywood actor Odira Nwobu, popularly known as “Joseph the Dreamer,” was involved in a serious multi-vehicle accident on the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway.
A viral video from the scene shows his car completely wrecked, with the front and sides crushed. Nwobu was seen bleeding and conscious, lying on the ground while bystanders worked to rescue victims.
According to initial reports, multiple fatalities occurred in the crash, and several others were injured. Odira was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is reportedly fighting for his life, though no official update has been released by his representatives or local authorities as of now.
