Eric Kripke , the creator of the hit Amazon prime series “The Boys” has bid farewell to the show’s set as filming wraps up on its fifth and final season. In an emotional Instagram post, he shared a heartfelt message expressing his gratitude to the cast, crew, and fans who have supported the show throughout its run with a photo of himself in The Seven’s conference room at Vought Tower, looking up at the mural of Homelander (Antony Starr) on the ceiling.

“This is the last time I’ll ever be on this set. It’ll be torn down soon,” he captioned the post.
“It’s bittersweet, but my primary feeling is gratitude. We have the best cast, the best crew, the most fun story to write, and something that is impossible to predict: the right timing. You wait your whole career to have maybe two of those things, if you’re lucky. We got all of them.”
He continued, “To #TheBoys family: thank you, I love you all. To the fans: thanks for watching, can’t wait for you to see the grand finale. That’s a wrap.”

The Boys is a dark and satirical superhero series based on the comic book series of the same name by Garth Ennie and Darick Robertson. The show premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2019 and has since gained a dedicated fan base for its unique take on the superhero genre. The series explores the darker sides of superheroes, known as supes, and the corrupt corporation that controls them, Vought International.

The fifth and final season of “The Boys” premiering in 2026 promises to be an explosive and action packed conclusion to the series. Fans are eagerly anticipating the grand finale and fate of their favorite characters.
