The Accountant 2, starring Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal, will stream on Prime Video globally starting June 5.
After a successful April theatrical run, where it grossed over $100 million globally, “The Accountant 2” is now heading to streaming. The film previously premiered at SXSW, where it won the Headliner Audience Award to great acclaim.

In “The Accountant 2”, Ben Affleck reprises his role as Christian Wolff, a genius problem-solver. When a friend is murdered, Wolff is drawn into the case and teams up with his lethal brother Brax (Jon Bernthal) and Treasury Deputy Director Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) to uncover a deadly conspiracy, putting them in the crosshairs of ruthless killers.

Daniella Pineda, Allison Robertson, and J.K. Simmons also star in the film, penned by Bill Dubuque, for which Affleck, Lynette Howell Taylor, and Mark Williams served as producers.

The original “The Accountant” (2016) grossed $155M globally and later became the most rented digital film. The sequel, produced by Affleck and Matt Damon’s Artists Equity, was picked up by Amazon MGM after acquiring rights from Warner Bros, with Affleck reprising his role as Christian Wolff, a skilled CPA with autism who moonlights as a deadly forensic accountant.

The Accountant 2″ promises more intense action and suspense, building on the success of the original film.
