Reality TV star and singer Teddy A has spoken openly about the wife-beating allegations that once threatened to tear his marriage apart.
In a recent interview, the former Big Brother Naija housemate addressed viral claims accusing him of physically abusing his wife, actress and media personality Bamike “Bambam” Olawunmi-Adenibuyan, during her pregnancy. Teddy A strongly denied the allegations, describing them as false and deeply damaging.
He explained that the rumours appeared suddenly on social media and spread rapidly, leaving both him and his wife shocked. Teddy A also revealed that he initially chose to remain silent on professional advice, hoping the controversy would die down. However, he later realised that his silence allowed the false narrative to gain more traction.
Describing the episode as one of the most painful moments of his life, Teddy A warned about how quickly misinformation can spread and the lasting harm it can cause to innocent families.
