Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has issued a public apology to Davido after sparking controversy with her comments about his restaurant. In a video shared on her Instagram account, she expressed regret for her words.
The actress sparked controversy with a public post on instagram, expressing her opinion that Davido’s restaurant should have been named after his wife, Chioma Adeleke.
Stating “I honestly feel Davido’s restaurant should have been opened for Chioma or probably in her name because we’ve always known her to be a passionate, fantastic chef.”
After receiving a direct message from Davido, Sarah Martins apologized to the singer, explaining she was misled by food critic Opeyemi Famakin’s post.
She wrote:
“One and only 001 @davido. The king himself, the crown of my sis Chioma, the apple of our eyes ( 30BGs) pls I’m truly sorry if you felt disrespected 🙏Na @opeyemifamakin cause am🤦🏻♀️I was misinformed by his post.”
