Sarah Bolger is set to star in the psychological horror film “Nervous,” alongside Asung Ko, and Sungsoo Yune . This film marks Bolger’s return to the thriller genre and her second collaboration with director Abner Pastoll, following “A Good Woman is Hard to Find.”
According to Deadline, “Nervous” is based on an original screenplay by Pastoll and co-writer Richard Hobley. The film follows a woman who spirals into a seductive nightmare beyond her control as she navigates a troubled marriage and disorienting cultural terrain in the Korean countryside.
Junyoung Jang and Abner Pastoll are producing “Nervous” through Story Robot, in association with February Films, with co-producers Joori Kim and Suho Lim, and executive producers Youngmin Kim, Guillaume Benski, Lloyd Levin, and Beatriz Levin.
Bolger is known for her roles in “Mayans M.C.,” “Into the Badlands,” “The Lazarus Effect,” and “In America.” Asung Ko has appeared in “Snowpiercer,” “The Host,” “Life on Mars,” and “Tracer,” while Sungsoo Yune starred in “Strong Girl Nam-soon.
