Red Card is a deeply emotional Nollywood drama that blends the thrill of sports with the raw realities of family life. At the center of the story is Tobechukwu “Tobe” Eze (played by Clinton Joshua), a highly talented young footballer with dreams of going pro. He’s been raised by his mother Dorothy (Uche Jombo), a strong, determined woman who has singlehandedly supported his dreams, sacrificing everything for his future.
Tobe’s world begins to shift when his long-absent father suddenly reappears after years of abandonment. With Tobe on the brink of major success, his father’s interest raises questions: Is he back out of love and regret? Or is he drawn by Tobe’s rising fame and potential earnings?
