Detective Cha Soo-yeol is thrown into the ultimate moral dilemma when a new killer starts copying the signature style of his notorious mother, Jung Yi-shin, aka the “Queen Mantis.” Soo-yeol must team up with his estranged mother to stop the bloodshed, confronting the past he’s spent his whole life trying to escape. As they investigate, their alliance becomes a tense game of cat and mouse, where trust is impossible, old wounds resurface, and the line between family loyalty and survival blurs.

With a talented cast, including Go Hyun-jung as Jung Yi-shin and Jang Dong-yoon as Detective Cha Soo-yeol, this series promises to be a gripping thriller. The cast also includes Jo Sung-ha as seasoned officer Choi Jung-ho, Lee El as veteran detective Kim Na-hee, and Kim Bo-ra as Lee Jung-yeon, Soo-yeol’s wife and pottery gallery director. The series is directed by Byun Young-joo and written by Lee Young-jong, who is marking his first television drama.
