Judith Audu, the producer of the Nollywood series “The Party”, announced that the show will premiere on Netflix on May 30, sharing the news on her Instagram page.
The Party is a three-part murder mystery series that tells the story of how everyone became a suspect when a young, successful, newly married man died unexpectedly and dramatically.
The series, directed by Yemi Morafa, boasts an all-star cast of Nollywood’s finest, including Shaffy Bello, Uzor Arukwe, Mide Martins, Kunle Remi, and James Gardiner.
The series features standout performances from Tope Olowoniyan, Ben Touitou, Ray Adeka, and makes a memorable debut with Eva Ibiam.
The Party was initially a feature-length film,produced by Ope Ajayi and Captain of Sea
However Netflix acquired it and reworked it into a 3-part series.
Ope Ajayi previously hinted that the Netflix series “The Party” would keep viewers on the edge, guessing about the identity of the culprit.
In his words; “You’ll never be able to guess who did it.”
He further added: “The performances are perhaps one of my favourite things about the series.
“Everyone brought their A-game!”
