Nollywood actress Biola Adebayo has publicly disclosed her separation from her husband, Oluwaseyi Akinrinde in an emotional Instagram post.
Biola Adebayo and Oluwaseyi Akinrinde got married on April 27, 2021, in a court wedding at the Ikoyi Registry.
The actress shared that they parted ways April 2024, after nearly three years of marriage, and have chosen to co-parent their son amicably. The couple welcomed their baby boy via surrogacy in April 2023.
Biola Adebayo didn’t reveal reasons for the split, instead she expressed gratitude for their time together and wished her ex-husband.
She also shared her struggles , revealing that she had cried herself to sleep almost every night for 14 months, but found strength in her Christian faith.
She wrote:
Happy birthday to my ex-husband and my baby daddy. I pray that grace will abound unto you, I pray you to find peace in all your ways, and may God continue to light your path and bless you beyond your expectations in Jesus’ name.
My husband and I have been separated since April last year, but we have decided to maturely and peacefully co-parent our dear son, who means everything to us.
I wish it had worked, but it’s better to stay alive to tell the story. Please keep us in your prayers. Let’s learn to be kind to people, you have no idea what others are going through until they say it. SAY UNTO THE RIGHTEOUS ALL IS WELL.PEACE”.
