Veteran Nollywood actor Tito Harrison has opened up about his difficult journey battling liver disease and a chronic ulcer, revealing how these health challenges nearly took his life and left him in financial ruin.
In an emotional conversation on Biola Bayo’s podcast, Talk to B, Harrison shared that this time marked the toughest chapter of his life. He recounted the severe decline in his health, which forced him to sell his home, car, and other possessions to pay for escalating medical bills. Eventually, unable to meet rent payments, he and his family were forced to move in with his mother-in-law.
Despite the heavy toll, Harrison expressed deep gratitude for his wife, Tayelolu, calling her a “Godsent” for her relentless support during these trying times. He also expressed frustration over the lack of empathy from some of his colleagues in the film industry, recalling how his personal struggles were mocked publicly rather than met with the kindness and understanding he had hoped for.
