In an Instagram video, Nollywood actor Nosa Rex has called out Ghanaian TV stations for allegedly airing his film “Prince of Peace” without permission, just six hours after its YouTube release. The actor’s frustration is palpable as he condemns the TV stations for disrespecting intellectual property rights and undervaluing the hard work that goes into making films.

This isn’t the first time Ghanaian TV stations have been accused of film piracy. Other Nollywood stars, including Omoni Oboli, Bimbo Ademoye, and Ruth Kadiri, have also spoken out about similar experiences. Nosa Rex’s latest outburst is a testament to the growing frustration among filmmakers about the lack of respect for their work.

In the video, Nosa Rex directly addresses the TV stations, saying, “Ghana TV station, Ghana TV Station. The TV station wey dey show our film for free. Na Ogun wey go kpai all of una. Ghana entertainment will continue to be behind. As e be say nobody wan get sense tell una say that thing wey una dey no good. I’m using this opportunity to call out all of Ghana TV stations. You guys are all stupid. No disrespect to my fans, you guys know that I love you but e don dey too much. Enough is Enough. I just released Prince of Peace, una don stream am. Why?”

Nosa Rex’s words are a wake-up call to the Ghanaian TV stations to respect the intellectual property rights of filmmakers. Will they heed the warning, or will the piracy continue? Only time will tell.
