Australian-American actress Leila George is set to join Jake Gyllenhaal in the upcoming sequel to Amazon MGM Studios’ Road House reboot. Following the recent addition of Dave Bautista to the cast, this highly anticipated film is shaping up to be a thrilling ride under the direction of Ilya Naishuller, from a script written by Will Beall.
The original Road House reboot, released in 2024, starred Jake Gyllenhaal as Dalton, an ex-UFC fighter who takes on a role as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, directed by Doug Liman. The sequel’s production team includes notable producers such as Charles Roven and Alex Gartner from Atlas Entertainment, and Jake Gyllenhaal and Josh McLaughlin from Nine Stories Productions.
Leila George is currently busy filming Ryan Murphy’s American Love Story. Her recent credits include Alfonso Cuarón’s Apple TV+ series Disclaimer, which earned her a Critics’ Choice Award nomination, and TNT’s series Animal Kingdom, showcasing her versatility as an actress.
