The film “Lowkey Adults” delves into the complexities of adulthood with a narrative that’s both heartfelt and humorous. It addresses themes like self-discovery, friendships, heartbreaks, and the pressures of life, making it relatable for young viewers.

The film centers on Jaiyeola Funtua, a young woman dealing with love, loss, and laughter following a painful breakup. She makes a bold wager to win over her ex’s enigmatic rival, Hamza Bello, triggering a series of events that challenge her relationships and identity.

According to the producer, “Lowkey Adults” brings together exciting young voices in Nigerian storytelling. Directed by Fatimah Binta Gimsay and Stephanie Dadet, the movie stars Susan Ganchung Pwajok alongside Shamz Garuba, Adeoluwa Akintoba, Mallum Arik, and Omosalewa Fafowora.
