HBO Max and Viu are set to shake up the Southeast Asian streaming landscape with a new bundle deal, offering subscribers a vast library of content from both services. The partnership brings together HBO’s premium Hollywood content, including hits like Game of Thrones, The Last of Us, and Friends, with Viu’s popular Asian dramas and reality shows, such as Running Man and Crash Landing on You.
According to James Gibbons, President of Asia Pacific at Warner Bros. The bundle is expected to launch in Q4 across Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand, offering subscribers a unique entertainment experience.
