Tobi Bakre is a Nigerian actor, model, host, compere, and photographer, born on June 1, 1994, in Lagos State. He is originally from Ogun State and is the second son of Chief Olufemi Bakre, the Otunba Bobaselu of Awa-Ijebu Kingdom, who also serves as the Managing Director and CEO of Parallex Bank. Tobi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Lagos, graduating with Second Class Upper Honors.
Before entering the entertainment industry, Tobi worked in investment banking for four years, including a role at the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation. His major break came in 2018 when he became a finalist on the third season of Big Brother Naija, which helped launch his career in the public eye.
Tobi Bakre started his acting career on television in 2018, appearing as himself on the Africa Magic drama and music series Hustle. That same year, he made his film debut in Mokalik, directed by renowned filmmaker Kunle Afolayan, playing the character Goke.
