Nollywood actor Efa Iwara has shared his candid thoughts about his career trajectory, expressing dissatisfaction with his current professional standing despite his notable achievements in the Nigerian film industry.

In a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Iwara revealed that he feels like he can do so much more, with a lot of untapped potential. “No, I am not happy with where my career is,” he confessed. “I feel like I can work twice as hard, as long as I don’t break down. I’m just never satisfied.”

The actor’s journey to success hasn’t been without its challenges. Born with a stammer, he had to overcome his speech impediment with the help of his elder brother. “I was born a stammerer, but had to outgrow it. My brother had to coach me out of it,” he shared.

Despite this obstacle, Iwara has established himself as a talented actor, featuring in acclaimed productions like “The Men’s Club,” “This Lady Called Life,” and “Rumour Has It.” He even started his career as a rapper before transitioning to acting.

Iwara’s dissatisfaction stems from his desire to push himself further and reach greater heights. He prioritizes his health while striving for excellence, acknowledging that there’s still much room for growth.

“I know there’s more in me,” he said. “I just need to keep going until I find that space that feels just right.”
