Nollywood actress and producer Dayo Amusa has warned vendors and businesses against using her photos or videos to promote products without her consent.
In a statement on her official Instagram page, Amusa clarified that purchasing a product does not imply her endorsement. She emphasized that her images and videos must not appear in marketing campaigns unless she explicitly approves them.
Amusa stressed that continued misuse of her likeness will have consequences, highlighting the importance of respecting celebrity image rights in Nigeria and reminding vendors to obtain proper authorization before featuring public figures in promotions.
