Nollywood actress Bolaji Ogunmola recently shared a distressing experience from Ekiti Airport that quickly sparked conversation online. According to her Instagram video and subsequent reports, she was left stranded for over 24 hours. This was due to repeated flight delays, and cancellations disrupted her travel plans.

The ordeal began when she arrived at the Airport to board a scheduled flight to Lagos. After being informed of an initial delay, she waited for hours only to learn that the flight had been cancelled. This was without clear alternatives offered by the airline staff.

A Series of Delays and Shifts

The disruption didn’t end there. According to her account, the airline rescheduled the flight for the next morning at 8:00 a.m., but this departure time was repeatedly pushed back first to 9:30 a.m., then to 12:00 p.m., and later to 5:30 p.m. This was all done without formal communication prior to her arrival at the airport.

During her Instagram video, Bolaji described the frustration of returning to the airport early in the morning only to be told yet again that the flight time had changed. She also detailed the financial impact and stress caused by the uncertainty. She also shared that she had already spent significant resources in relation to her work commitments that required her to be in Lagos.

Stranded at the Airport
