The BBC has announced exciting new additions to the cast of its upcoming series, “Dear England.” Jodie Whittaker and Jason Watkins have joined the talented ensemble, bringing their exceptional acting skills to the project

Jodie Whittaker who is known for her role in ( Doctor Who, Toxic Town) joins the cast as Pippa Grange, the England men’s team psychologist, while Jason Watkins who is known for his roles in ( The Game, The Crown) is former FA chairman.

The National Theatre’s hit play “Dear England” transferred to screens, following its five-star reviews and Olivier Award for Best New Play. After a successful run at the National Theatre in 2023 and earlier this year, the play embarked on a national tour. Now, Left Bank Pictures is bringing the story to life as a six-part series, with filming underway in the South of England. “Dear England” is set to premiere on BBC iPlayer and BBC One in 2026.
