The action-packed movie ‘Heads of State’, directed by Ilya Naishuller, has smashed viewership records on Prime Video, attracting over 75 million global viewers since its release on July 2.

Heads of State ranks as the fourth most-watched Amazon MGM Studios film on Prime Video, a testament to its massive success.

The movie trails behind ‘Red One’, the Dwayne Johnson-Chris Evans holiday action film directed by Jake Kasdan, which holds the top spot as Prime Video’s most-watched Amazon MGM title. Notably, ‘Red One’ drew 50 million viewers in just four days on Prime Video and raked in $186 million globally in its theatrical run.

The action-packed film “Heads of State” brings together an ensemble cast, including Idris Elba, John Cena, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and others, in a thrilling tale of global intrigue. When the UK Prime Minister and the US President find themselves in the crosshairs of a foreign adversary, they must set aside their differences and work together to thwart a sinister plot.
“Heads of State” also dominates the streaming charts, claiming the top spot on Nielsen’s Movie chart with 1.098 billion minutes streamed during its debut week. The film also held the number one position on Prime Video for four consecutive weeks.
