Nonso Diobi says his unmarried status stems from blurring lines between his acting roles and real-life relationships, making it challenging for him to navigate romance.
Nonso Diobi shared with Labista how growing up in the public eye influenced his perspective on relationships and romance.
“I grew up on TV and don’t know what it means to be a regular guy. I’ve tried to build relationships that would lead to marriage, but there was something I was doing wrong. I was seeing them through a script”, he said.
Nonso Diobi said his acting career, particularly in romantic roles, made it hard for him to distinguish between fake and real relationships.
The actor said his habit of treating relationships like movie scripts has made it difficult for him to find a lasting partner.
