Movies for the month

In the dazzling world of Lagos’ elite, where charm is currency and betrayal is a survival tactic, Amaka (Onyii Alex) has learned that love is anything but fair. Once innocent and hopeful, she’s now hardened by heartbreak and manipulation—and she’s no longer playing by anyone’s rules.

Determined to turn the tables, Amaka crafts a seductive online persona and begins targeting wealthy, self-assured men who believe everything has a price—including her. Using her wit and beauty, she infiltrates their lavish lives, giving them a taste of affection before disappearing at their most vulnerable moments.

But her strategy hits a snag when she crosses paths with Raymond (Maurice Sam), a charming and successful man who appears to match her intellect and mystery. Unlike her previous targets, Raymond seems to see through her mask—and may even be playing a game of his own. A tense dance of attraction, deception, and buried secrets unfolds, with each trying to outsmart the other.

Tonia (Roseline Afije), Amaka’s childhood friend and moral compass, cautions her that some games come at a cost too great. As emotions blur and stakes rise, Amaka begins to question her true motives: is this still about revenge—or is she falling for the very man she planned to outplay?

But when one of her past conquests is caught in a scandal and her carefully built façade starts to crumble, Amaka is left at a crossroads. Can she walk away before it all collapses—or will this sweet game end in bitter regret?
