Moji revealed that she was blacklisted by powerful marketers in the film industry, particularly those operating from Idumota, Lagos, during the era when marketers controlled production and distribution in Nollywood.

Why?
She refused to give in to sexual advances from these marketers.
Many of them expected sexual favors in exchange for giving actors lead roles or producing their films.
Because of her refusal, the marketers conspired among themselves to stop working with her completely.
“I didn’t sleep with any marketer, and because of that, they stopped featuring me in movies,” she said.

As a result of the blacklisting, Moji lost access to roles, lost income, and faded from the public spotlight for several years.
She became financially strained and had to find other ways to survive, including distributing her own movies on YouTube and through other personal channels.

Moji emphasized that Her moral values and upbringing wouldn’t allow her to compromise herself. She said she remained sexually pure until marriage and was committed to staying faithful to her husband, film producer Ojopagogo (Rasaq Olayiwola). Even though her decision cost her fame and fortune, she stood firm on her principles.

Moji also criticized the immoral behavior among some female actors, including married women, who she alleged willingly slept with marketers to advance their careers.
Recalled an instance where a marketer refused to produce a film for one of her colleagues simply because the actress did not respond to his sexual advances.
Stated that many of her contemporaries, even if married, would visit marketers with their husbands nearby, suggesting a culture of silent complicity.

Her disclosure has been met with widespread support and admiration from fans and industry watchers. Many praised her courage, discipline, and honesty, seeing her as a role model who exposed a long-standing issue in Nollywood.
