The popular Amazon series Reacher is set for its fourth season, and a new addition has been made to the cast. Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette joins the show in a recasting role.
The actor takes over the role of Jacob Merrick, a small-town cop, after Jay Baruchel’s sudden exit due to personal reasons. Baruchel had recently joined the cast of Reacher Season 4.
According to sources, Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette’s casting was remarkably swift, with him securing the role the same day it was announced and joining the set within few days.
Based on Lee Child’s bestselling novels and created by Nick Santora, Reacher’s fourth season adapts ‘Gone Tomorrow,’ the 13th book in the series. The story follows Jack Reacher (Ritchson) as a train encounter spirals into a deadly game against powerful enemies.
Several new cast members have been announced as addition to this season, they include Sydelle Noel, Agnez Mo, Anggun, Kevin Corrigan, Kevin Weisman, Marc Blucas, and Kathleen Robertson.
Reacher is a collaborative production between Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and CBS Studios. The executive production team includes Nick Santora, Lee Child, Alan Ritchson, and a host of other industry professionals, ensuring a high-quality adaptation of the beloved novels.
