Lifetime has acquired the movie “His, Hers & Ours” from The Ninth House, following the success of “Terry McMillan Presents: Forever”. The film is part of Lifetime’s ongoing partnership with author Terry McMillan. The drama starring Taye Diggs, Lesley-Ann Brandt, and Aimee Garcia , with Diggs and Brandt also serving as executive producers.
plot Overview
The drama follows single dad Darius (Taye Diggs) as he kicks out his daughter’s boyfriend, only to meet the boy’s mom, Kelly (Lesley-Ann Brandt), and feel an unexpected attraction. As their kids navigate their romance, Kelly and Darius develop feelings for each other, stealing secret moments and discovering a love they thought they’d lost. However, revealing their relationship to their children poses risks. Meanwhile, Kelly’s best friend Sofia (Aimee Garcia) becomes suspicious of their budding romance.
