Veteran Nigerian actor Ibrahim Chatta has stated that he is not concerned with winning the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).
According to Daily Post, Chatta, who was nominated for Best Lead Actor for his performance in House of GAA, lost the award to Femi Adebayo for his role in Seven Doors.
During his appearance on the Curiosity Made Me Ask podcast on Sunday, Chatta expressed that he is not focused on the AMVCA award, highlighting that such accolades are not his primary concern.
Isbae U, the host of Curiosity Made Me Ask podcast, asked Ibrahim Chatta, “Will you say you are not rated at your job? When you get home, pray that you should win the AMVCA too.”
In response, Chatta firmly replied, “I’m not interested.”
