Timini Egbuson Opens Up on Love and Regret

Lifestyle

Popular Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has shared a deeply personal story about love, regret, and the hard lessons he learned while chasing success.

In a recent interview, Timini revealed that he once lost a woman he truly loved — someone he now describes as his soulmate — not because of infidelity or a major fight, but because he was overly consumed by work and the pursuit of money.

Choosing Career Over Emotional Connection

According to the actor, there was a period in his life when career growth and financial stability took priority over everything else. He believed that working hard and providing financially were enough to keep a relationship strong.

However, his partner wanted more than that. She needed time, attention, and emotional presence. “Money Alone Is Not Enough”

Reflecting on the experience, Timini admitted that he misunderstood what love truly requires. While money plays a role, he explained, it cannot replace communication, emotional availability, and genuine connection.

He noted that when money is the only thing a man brings into a relationship, it often lacks depth. True love, according to him, demands presence, effort, and intentional care.

A Painful but Defining Regret

The actor described losing his soulmate as one of his deepest regrets, admitting that selfishness and poor communication contributed to the breakup. He believes things might have been different if he had found a better balance between ambition and emotional commitment.

Despite the pain, Timini says the experience helped him grow, shaping his understanding of relationships, priorities, and what it truly means to love someone.

Today, Timini Egbuson says he approaches love with greater maturity and awareness.
