The Plot
Set in the quiet Changri Neighborhood, the story follows a group of men who once served in elite military units. Now retired from active duty, they live ordinary lives as insurance agents, shop owners, and community members. However, when unexpected threats disturb their peaceful town, these former commandos reunite to protect their neighbors. Their mission is not to save the world, but to defend the people and places they care about most.
The series centers on Choi Kang, a former JDD special forces member who now works as an insurance investigator. He is joined by Kwak Byeong-Nam, a former counter-terrorism expert who runs a local hardware store. Together, they form a team with other reservists, using their past skills to solve problems in clever and often humorous ways.
Cast and Characters
Yoon Kye-Sang plays Choi Kang, bringing depth and charisma to the role of a quiet but capable leader. Jin Sun-Kyu portrays Kwak Byeong-Nam, adding both strength and comic timing to the team. Supporting roles include Kim Ji-Hyun, Ko Kyu-Pil, and Lee Jung-Ha, each contributing to the show’s lively and emotional tone.
